What a GREAT show!

October 30th my best friend, Kathryn, and I went to the Paradise Rock Club to see Go Radio, Every Avenue, and Yellowcard. The show was absolutely amazing! It was the best show I have attended in a long time; it is definitely in my top five. That says a lot because I have attended over 150 concerts in the past two years. Go Radio was the first act. They came out dresses in Halloween costumes. I am not sure what they were supposed to be, but it was great. They looked so silly. It got the audience in the Halloween spirit. There were a few audience members already in the spirit dressed in costume. Jason Lancaster's, lead singer of Go Radio, voice is so beautiful. Every time that man opens his mouth and sings, I get chills. I have nothing but great things to say about this band. The entire band even stuck around to sign autographs and take pictures with fans during and after the concert. They are definitely doing things right!         Every Avenue's lead singer, David Strauchman, was another person who “gave back” to his fans. He signed autographs and took pictures after the show. I absolutely love Every Avenue. Their lyrics, their sound, their image; it all works.  However I was kind of disappointed in David Strauchman. He was acting like a sloppy drunk on stage which is so unprofessional! He was slurring his words and not focused on his vocals what so ever, but that didn't stop him from drinking (on stage none the less). I still love Every Avenue, but I am disappointed in their performance....well David Strauchman's performance.         The last band that played was Yellowcard. I can't call myself a fan, but I do like all three of their songs on my ipod. Their hour set was kind of long just because I didn't know the lyrics to all over their songs, but the crowd went crazy for them. They are one of those bands that are absolutely happy to be where they care and be doing what they are doing. You can just see it when they are on stage. They are truly happy which can be heard as they sing. I was able to feel what they singing about. It's was very intimate. I wish I could have had a chance to meet them, but I know that's asking for a lot. It's very difficult to meet the headliners of a tour, but, all in all, I was very satisfied with the show. I am glad I attended :)
